Dr. Vijay Reesu graduated with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery degree from Vishnu Dental College in India in 2008. His interest in humanitarian service and forensic dentistry led him to pursue a Master’s degree in Forensic Dentistry at the University of Glamorgan in Cardiff, Wales, which he completed in 2011. Dr. Reesu also gained valuable clinical experience in general dental practice.

From 2013 to 2016, Dr. Reesu served as a lecturer and forensic dentist at Maulana Azad Institute of Dental Sciences in Delhi. During this time, he established the institution’s first Department of Forensic Dentistry and served as an expert witness for the Government of Delhi, assisting with the evaluation of forensic cases.

Driven by his interest in research and digital innovation, Dr. Reesu subsequently completed a PhD at the University of Dundee School of Dentistry in Scotland in 2020. His doctoral research focused on digital dentistry and the application of three-dimensional scanning technologies. As part of this work, he developed a novel automated software system for comparing and matching intra-oral 3D dental scans. He has also presented at national and international conferences.

After completing his PhD, Dr. Reesu moved to Canada to pursue his passion for Prosthodontics. In 2026, he completed his Master of Dentistry degree with a specialization in Prosthodontics at the Dr. Gerald Niznick College of Dentistry at the University of Manitoba. He has also presented at national and international conferences.

Dr. Reesu draws on his academic background, research and clinical experience, and specialty training to provide comprehensive care through a thoughtful, evidence-based approach. He is committed to patient-centered rehabilitation that balances function, aesthetics, and long-term maintenance needs.

Outside dentistry, Dr. Reesu enjoys spending time with his family, cooking, watching movies, travelling, and exploring new places.
