Zoom Whitening is an in office bleaching process that lightens discoloration of enamel and dentin caused by aging and consumption of staining substances such as coffee, tea, colas, tobacco, red wine, etc.
The procedure begins with a short preparation to isolate your gums and protect them from the bleaching gel, leaving the teeth exposed. Our dental assistant, Lee, then applies the Zoom hydrogen peroxide whitening gel, which works together with the Zoom light to penetrate the teeth and break up the stains and discoloration. The gel remains in place for 15 minutes while the light is activated. During this time, you can relax, use your phone or listen to music.
The gel is applied for four 15-minute sessions of light activation, for a total treatment time of 45 minutes. Optimal results are normally achieved after 3 sessions.
We wil provide you with a relief gel as there is often some sensitivity experienced. We will also provide you with a touch up kit to keep your smile bright!

The take home kit includes a whitening gel which is a thick solution that is applied by the patient at home using a clear and inconspicuous custom fitted whitening tray.
We will take an impression of your teeth and design a tray that fits your teeth perfectly.
The whitening gel is worn overnight, or for two hours during the day while you sleep for ultimate performance and maximum convenience. In only 10-14 nights, you can achieve exceptional whitening results.
